We have Great speakers coming this year to our conference. Here is a spotlight on two of them.
Paul Dragoonis – Paul, a software consultant from Glasgow, Scotland, is a long-term php community member whom spends his time mentoring fellow PHP’ers, contributing to PHP internals, extensions and the php.net website.
He is also the lead developer of PPI Framework, where he focuses on framework interoperability and multi-framework co-operation. Since PPI and PHP-FIG share a common goal, he focuses his time maintaining & participating in the PHP-FIG group.
Vítor Brandão – Vítor is a software consultant, Portuguese by birth, and now established in the UK. He developed a long standing love affair
with OpenSource contributing back with several PHP and Python projects and he’s a proud member of the Gentoo Linux community as a
user and developer.
Interested in PHP frameworks interoperability he joined Paul Dragoonis as co-lead of the PPI Framework where they try to push PHP-FIG
standards forward and promote the reuse of libraries across frameworks.
Vítor can be found on Twitter (@noiselabs) or lurking in IRC under the nickname noisebleed.
They will be speaking on PHP Interoperability with PPI Framework
There’s lot of buzz these days about PHP Interoperability (PHP-FIG, PSR). Paul’s talk will initially be on the benefits of PHP interoperability and what added value it brings to the PHP table.
He will then dive straight into showing how to practically take advantage of Interoperability, in real-world projects by using the PPI Framework. PPI Framework goes beyond the basic PSR’s that are in the PHP-FIG and takes things to the next level.
Come along and see how PPI Framework will put you in the driving seat and let you easily consume the PHP eco-system into your project.
